About Joelle Chauncey

I’m an Associate Creative Director and Art Director who likes staying close to the work. For more than 15 years, I’ve moved between hands-on art direction and creative leadership depending on what the team and assignment need.

I began in retail and shopper marketing, developing national product launches and sales-floor experiences for appliance brands. That work taught me how much the final details matter, especially when an idea has to function in physical spaces and hold up through technically demanding production.

More recently, I’ve focused on enterprise employer brands and integrated recruitment campaigns. I’ve helped turn research and strategy into creative platforms for large, complex organizations. The challenge is rarely creating one good piece. It is building something strong enough to keep working as more teams and audiences touch it.

I give people room to own their discipline, then step in with clearer direction or hands-on support when the work needs it. I’m comfortable presenting directly to clients, but I don’t want to lead from a distance. I like helping shape the larger system and staying involved long enough to see where it needs to bend.

Outside of work, life is a little quieter. I grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and now live in Denver. You’ll usually find me hiking with my dog or halfway through a DIY project.
