Overview
Applied Materials needed an employer brand campaign to support hiring across a wide range of technical and corporate roles, with a primary focus on early-career engineering talent. The work needed to communicate the scale and real-world impact of the business while remaining credible, accessible, and consistent across social channels, without oversimplifying career paths or opportunities.

I led the creative direction in partnership with art, copy, and video teams, working closely with strategy and the client to translate employer brand positioning into a cohesive, scalable visual system. The work emphasized clear storytelling and structured layouts designed to perform across platforms while maintaining clarity and brand alignment. High-performing content patterns were translated into reusable templates, helping the story remain consistent and recognizable in fast-moving social feeds. I stayed closely involved through planning, development, and review across a one-year retainer that was renewed multiple times as the program matured.

The campaign supported ongoing hiring needs and established a consistent employer brand presence across social platforms. Its systemized approach allowed the work to expand beyond the original social focus into additional executions, including hiring event displays, collateral, and animated banners, while maintaining clarity across roles and audiences.
